We have lending spaces, in an approximately 25㎡ room, for exhibition and sales purposes.
In this space, there are hundred-fifty boxes that are made of recycled waste found in Shanghai.
(A miniature bulb illuminates each box.)
On the other hand, there are also rooms for project, individual exhibition and books.
USHIGOKORO provides the space for selling the art-products. Our customers can directly see and touch the products before their actual purchase.
Through these art works, we hope that our gallery could become a communication and exchanging place for both professional and amateur artists in Shanghai.

The Location
Dong Hu Road, Center of Shanghai City, at the back of Huai Hai Middle Road
USHIGOKORO is located at the back of the European style building "DIAGE" built in 1930s, with courtyard full of sunshine. The building has got a restaurant & bar on the ground floor, a gallery and a shop on the first floor.
This neighborhood used to be (This area is located in the former) French concession area - Foch district, the most exclusive residential area with finest villas in Shanghai during late 19th century.
"diage" is directed and managed by a Japanese company "Urban
Design System Co., Ltd." which provides 'architecture renovation service'.
